PREPARATION OF POOL FOR FISH. Your pool should be filled for approximately 3 days prior to introducing your fish. If city water has just been added, an antichlorine product should be used to remove the harmful chlorine. An excellent preventive measure for common fish parasites is the use of an Ich remedy. Before introducing fish to a pool that already contains fish, it is recommended that the new fish should be quarantined.
RECEIPT OF FISH. Upon receipt of fish, remove the plastic bag from carton, float the plastic bag and fish in your pool water for approximately 15 minutes. This will equalize to the temperature of the water they were shipped in with the water in the pool and will prevent a shock to the fish.
