 | TRICKERS FISH. Fish add a beauty to your water garden. They combine color, movement and grace that cannot be added with any other type of gardening. If nature had its choice it would definitely put fish into your water garden. If stocking fish for the first time, a rule of thumb is 1 inch of fish for every 10 gallons of water. This rule is often altered by experienced fish keepers via filters, waterfalls, temperature considerations, etc. | | | PREPARATION OF POOL FOR FISH. Your pool should be filled for approximately 3 days prior to introducing your fish. If city water has just been added, an antichlorine product should be used to remove the harmful chlorine. An excellent preventive measure for common fish parasites is the use of Trickers No Ich. Before introducing fish to a pool that already contains fish, it is recommended that the new fish should be quarantined. RECEIPT OF FISH. Upon receipt of fish, remove the plastic bag from carton, float the plastic bag and fish in your pool water for approximately 15 minutes. This will equalize to the temperature of the water they were shipped in with the water in the pool and will prevent a shock to the fish. FISH IN YOUR CARE. Watch your fish carefully. Check our chart on fish remedies if any diseases are suspected. If you are uncertain, please call our office. It is highly recommended to review the fish chapter in Trickers Water Gardening Book, An Introduction and Guide prior to purchasing and care of fish. The book 1101 Water Gardening Questions and Answers goes into more detail about the care of fish. If problems arise these fundamental concepts are important in solving problems. Shipping of Fish.
