Pond Ich Guard. ICH (ich-thyophthiriasis) is one of the most prevalent diseases of fish. It is caused by a microscopic single-celled protozoan that causes white spots in the skin and gills of the fish. Alteration of the protective skin of the fish by ICH allows opportunistic bacteria or fungi invasion and the fish can die from secondary causes. The best control of ICH is prevention. New plants or fish can easily introduce ICH to your pond. An excellent preventative measure is to treat your pond for Ich BEFORE adding new plants and fish. Pond Oxy Clear or Pond Fizz Tabs Oxy Clear by Jungle Laboratories, Corp. A well known ingredient potassium permanganate has been used by Tricker customers for decades. Treats a broad range of fish parasites such as anchor worms, fungi, bacteria, and will clear cloudy water. Purchase in tablet or granular forms. Tablet Form: Use 2 tabs for each 50 gallons of water. Granular use 1 tsp for 50 gallons water (20 oz bottle treats 5650 gallons).

Super Ultra Clear - Promotes Fish Slime Coat Plus
Excellent conditioner for ponds with fish. Removes any chlorine and chloramine, promotes essential slime coat on the fish to protect gills, detoxifies heavy metals, and reduces long term nitrate build up. For water garden ponds, use 2 ounces per 250 gallons of water or 16 ounces for 2000 gallons. For aquariums use the smaller 4 ounce size and use one capful (5 cc) for every 20 gallons of water. 4 ounces will treat up to 480 gallons, 16 ounces will treat up to 1920 gallons, and 1 gallon will treat up to 25,000 gallons. To protect fish gills and prevent nitrate buildup use every 60 days.
