Anacharis - Best Oxygenating Plant
One of the finest oxygenating plants that form a dense mass of foliage invaluable for goldfish spawning and shelter for small fry. They have dark green curved lance-like leaflets on long branching stems. They produce tiny floating white flowers on trailing threadlike stalks. One of the BEST producing oxygenators! Easy to grow and reproduces rapidly thoughout the growing season.

Water Sprite
Water sprite is true water fern and a very attractive plant. The blades of the leaves are deeply incised, which are green and flat. Survives in deeply shaded places as well as direct sunlight. Having a poor root system it derives nutrient mainly from the water, thus a good purifier of the water. This feature is excellent in keeping the pool or aquarium water pure. Seen in the photograph is the plant as it emerges from the water making a very attactive sight.

Jungle Vallisneria - Oxygenating Plant
Jungle Vallisneria (Vallisneria americana). [Click Here for Video] A native, perennial excellent oxygenator that is much larger and has wider leaves than Vallisneria spiralis and is also known as Tapegrass. In the water the leaves can grow to around 2 feet in length or to the depth of your water garden pool. Jungle Vallisneria makes a very attractive sight in the water and has a wonderful and pleasing sway with any movement! As the water moves, from a waterfall or just curious fish, the long plants will sway in the current giving a most pleasing site. Look in the photograph, you can see "smiles" on the fish! Vallisneria - Oxygenating Plant
This attractive spiral leaved Vallisneria is Vallisneria spiralis and has grassy foilage with tiny white flowers and can be considered to be one of the best submerged oxygenating plants of all. It is happy in moving or still water. Any movement, by filtering of water or moving fish, create a most pleasing sight in the depths of the water. Fish love to play in the strap-like curled foliage.

Water Hornwort - Oxygenating Plant
This native, hardy milfoil-like aquatic plant is very decorative, of a delicate appearance, and create a green tangle with their fine linear leaf segments, very suitable for fishes and their fry because they are hosts to numerous plankton. The night motions of young vegatative tops in the evening are very interesting in that the leaves on the top part of the stem close when the light gets dim. Excellent for removing harmful nitrates from the water and is able to photosynthesize under the ice in winter.

Water Wisteria
This plant can adapt to low light conditions and still grow fast and gorgeously. Makes a great space filler and has a beautiful white color on the under sides of the leaves. Under water it grows and has a "different" look to it, which adds variety. If allowed to grow outside the pond water such as on the surface of the water or outside an aquarium tank the leaves will take on a different shape and bloom pretty purple-blue flowers as it emerges out of the water. Very easy to grow.

The green coloration of the smooth edged leaves makes the attractive delicate blue flowers stand out. When picked and the leaves are crushed has a very strong lemon smell. Samolus
This aquatic plant is a member of the Primrose family. The plant forms a rosette of light green, ovate leaves tapering at the base into a very small petiole. The leaves are smooth with discernible viens. If the plant is cultivated above the water it will form minute white flowers that are self-fertile whereas under the water it forms a rosette of leaves.
