Depending upon your growing season location, lotus are sent via mail early in the Spring, typically when hardy water lilies are sent, and continue until late July. Tricker’s special planting directions are sent with each lotus tuber. Please follow them closely. Lotus typically needs a lot of room to grow to bloom. Tricker’s X-Large Crates are perfect for growing all lotus! They provide the ample room necessary to grow and bloom. Look carefully in the photograph on the left of a blooming lotus in an X-Large crate taken from the pool and placed on a wheel barrow. The roots can be seen extending through the crate which will be able to take in nutrients from the water, and provide a surface growing area on ALL sides. These crates are proven to allow the lotus to prosper and bloom!
