Morning Glory - Tricker Hardy Water Lily Hybrid
This exclusive hybrid was introduced in 1926 at our original nurseries here in Independence, OH. It's present name is very appropriate as the blooms open early in the morning, and are undoubtedly of glorious size, color, and exquisite fragrance. The color is a delicate shell pink, almost white at the petal tips, shadding deeper towards the center of the flower. Long blooming season and robust root growth. Makes wonderful cut flowers.

Australia - Hardy Water Lily
This exclusive hybrid was introduced in 1990 at William Tricker, Inc. and has been a favorite ever since. The genetic origin is from Australia and shows a distinct pink coloration with whitish petals that are very attractive. It is a vigorous grower and blooms profusely. It can survive the harsh winters under ice and snow.

Marliac Rose - Hardy Water Lily
Also known as 'Marliacea rosea'. This 1887 Marliac hybrid was given the Award of Merit by the Royal Horticulture Society. Its very fragrant blossoms are of a deep rose shade, intensifying toward the center, cup shaped and quite large. Stamens are yellow It is one of the best water lilies for use as a cut flower and lasts several days in a vase.

Marliac Flesh - Hardy Water Lily
One of Marliac's 1887 great productions, known also as 'Marliac carnea', and is extremely popular. It has star-shaped blossoms, vanilla scented, soft, shell pink, deepening towards the base of the petals and paling gradually to white. Stamens are golden-yellow. As cut flowers, they have a fine lasting quality. Leaves are large, dark purplish red changing to deep green. They are strong growers, bloom profusely, and do well in deep or shallow water.

Firecrest - Tricker Hardy Water Lily Hybrid
A wonderful Tricker introduction by Robert Sawyer of William Tricker, Inc.® in 1928. The outer row of deep pink petals open widely, almost like the falls of an iris. The fire red stamens surmounting a flower carried well above the water, makes this lily unique as well as attractive. A beautiful addition to any pool.

Rose Arey - Hardy Water Lily
Helen Fowler produced this pink hybrid in 1913 and was given its name in honor of her cousin. The blossom is a uniform shade of rose-pink, star shaped, with an abundance of yellow stamens. Its fragrance is of sweet fruits. When young the leaves are entirely dark red. It received the Award of Merit at the Royal Horticulture Society. It is a strong dependable grower.

Masaniello - Hardy Water Lily
A 1908 Marliac hybrid with sweet scented blossoms and of deep rose color, dotted with carmine and become darker with age. They are peony shaped, held high above the surface and with sepals of white and with orange-yellow stamens.

Pink Opal - Hardy Water Lily
This 1915 American variety was developed by Helen Fowler and has many good qualities. Blossoms are cup shaped, very fragrant, of a coral-red color, and are held above the water's surface. Petals are numerous, short, and quite broad. It is one of the finest for cut flower purposes.

This 1909 Marliac creation has flowers that are double, strawberry pink, cup shaped, and very fragrant. Color deepens toward the center, petals are wide and stamens are orange. A lily that is truly sumptuous.

Lustrous - Hardy Water Lily
This is an American hybrid. Blossoms are large, of satiny rose-pink shade, and cup-shaped. Sepals are brown underneath and a deep pink inside. Stamens are yellow and in the form of a thick cluster. They are very vigorous growers and seed readily.

Pink Sensation - Hardy Water Lily
The blossom is a rich pink and very fragrant. The blossoms are held above the water. Flowers generally remain open in the late afternoons long after those of the others have closed. Leaves are green with red coloring underneath. Plants are prolific bloomers and quite vigorous throughout.
