Aurora - Hardy Pygmy Lily
This 1895 Marliac creation changes colors and patterns of leaves and blossoms from day to day. This single plant can be considered to be actually as many as three plants growing as one. Because of this ability to change the plant was named Aurora. The blossoms undergo the most remarkable series of color changes. On opening day, they are a creamy yellow, orange the next day, and finally turn a mixed red. Leaves are miniature with both surfaces beautifully mottled with maroon. One of the best for the tub garden or a beauty in miniature in any water garden pool.

Yellow Pygmy - Hardy Pygmy Lily
A tiny 1879 Marliac hardy lily that is ideal for tub culture. The star-shaped flowers are one to two inches across and are a rich golden yellow. Leaves are pleasingly mottled with chocolate. The entire spread is often less than a foot. This single water lily is a testament on the genius of Marliac! Look in the above photograph of 'Yellow Pygmy' and note in addition to the small flowers the accompaning small mottled water lily leaves that makes this a most unusual plant and a true accomplishment of the genius of the hybridizer M. Marliac.

Sioux - Hardy Pygmy Lily
Marliac produced this hybrid in 1908 which is a small grower ideal for small to medium ponds. Blossoms opening chrome yellow gradually changing to a deep orange and then to copper red. Foliage is a rich green with blotches.
