Do not forget ALL filters, new and old, need a biological start to get the natural bacterial base started. Use with a new filter, the start of a new season, or when changes occur to your filter during the year. Add 2 oz to 3 gallons per minute biofilter and 4 oz for 3-6 gallons per minute biofilter.
