Sir Galahad - Night Blooming Lily
Blossoms of this Mr. Martin Randig 1965 hybrid are large and white, standing well out of the water. The leaves are shiny and round with undulating edges. They open at dusk and stay open until noon the next day. The pure white blossoms are a welcome sight in the late afternoon.

Missouri - Night Blooming Lily
It is no more than right to place this variety at the head of the list of white night bloomers. It was named in honor of the Missouri Botanical Gardens by George H Pring in 1932. It is not unusual to have these flowers 12" across. The broad petals give the flower a most distinctive appearance. The young leaves are coppery brown when they first appear, but soon develop to a dark green with deeply serrated edges. Truly a supreme beauty.

Juno - Night Blooming Lily
Under standardized plant names the old variety Nymphaea dentata superba became Juno. It is really the most perfect modern flower developed by cultivation from the sacred Lotus of Egyptian tradition. Flowers 8 to 12 inches across are produced most freely throughout the summer into early fall. The flowers open very wide almost flat. The stamens are saffron yellow in color. It opens in the late afternoon and stays open while the day bloomers are closed until late in the early morning. Moonlight makes it a most unusual sight whereas the pure white blossoms appear to glow! It was introduced in 1906 and has been an outstanding variety for decades!
