Ellisiana. Developed by Marliac in 1896 and received the Award of Merit by the Royal Horticulture Society. It has small blossoms, but its brilliant red coloration with a center of deep purple make this water lily quite outstanding. It is considered by many to be one of the most brilliant reds, actually intensifying with age. A colorful addition to the red group of water lilies.
