Pink Perfection - Water Lily

Pink Perfection. The rich pink very fragrant blossom of this water lily is held high above the surface and is sometimes eight inches in diameter. In addition to these qualities, flowers generally remain open in late afternoon long after those of the others have closed. Leaves are heavily variegated with a red coloring underneath. Plants are prolific bloomers and quite vigorous throughout. Look closely in the photograph, note the very attractive flowers and mottled leaves, the "perfection" of a pink flowered water lily!
