Botanical Name: Cyperus percamenthus
The Dwarf Giant Papyrus has quite strong stems that sway in the summer breeze. Papyrus are either dwarf or large, and this papyrus has traits of both.
It's dwarf size holds attractive large stems. The distinct mop-like heads make the plant quite attractive.
This papyrus can be brought indoors for the winter months, then back outdoors after the snow melts and the waters start to warm.
The stems can be used to make Egyptian paper as described in our book Tricker 1101 Water Garden Questions and Answers.
Size: This Dwarf Giant Papyrus can reach 2-3' tall.
