About Tricker's
Store Hours
Emily Grant Hutchings Night Blooming Water Lily. This beautiful red hybrid was produced by George Pring in 1922 and named after the wife of the secretary of Tower Grove Park, St. Louis, Missouri. The striking amaranth red coloring of the blossom is cup shaped and 10 to 12 inches in diameter. They stand well above the water's surface. Some claim it to be the brightest colored water-lily under cultivation. Leaves are relatively small compared to other night bloomers.
