Mrs. Woodrow Wilson is a beautiful 1914 Tricker hybrid made from the popular blue flowered water lily 'Dauben' and bears the same viviparous leaf characteristics. The variety is, however, much stronger growing than its parent and produces attractive lavender aromatic blue flowers of much greater size. The flowers stand high and proud out of the water. Since the plant produces an abundance of flowers, the aroma can be enjoyed indoors as cut flowers. The wonderful aroma will permeate the room with a most unsual scent. The stamens are a beautiful contrasting yellow, tipped with the color of the petals. This lily was a tribute to Mrs. Woodrow Wilson's death in 1914. This award winning William Tricker water lily received three Gold and Silver Medals and eight Certificate of Merit.
