In the early years of water gardening, many tropical water lilies were selected not only for their beauty, but the wonderful fragrance. You can bring the fragrance indoors by cutting the water lily flowers and placing in a small container of water in the home.
The image is from the back cover of the 1926 William Tricker catalog and shows the water lilies in this collection.
Note in the image of the bowl of water lilies, look out the window and you will see the customer's water garden pool! They can sit at the table and enjoy the water lilies close up and view their special water garden pool at the same time, can you?
Included: One each of (1) Panama-Pacific, a reddish-purple flower, (2) Mrs. Edwards Whitaker, a lavender-blue flowers, and (3) Alice Tricker with white blossoms.
