Samolus Aquarium Plant
Botanical Name: Samolus valerandi
Samolus, a member of the Primrose family, forms a rosette of light green, ovate leaves tapering at the base into a very small petiole. The leaves are smooth with discernible veins.
If the plant is cultivated above the water, then it will form minute white flowers that are self-fertile — underwater, it forms a rosette of leaves.
