Velvet Leaf Aquatic Plant
Botanical Name: Linnocharis flava
The Velvet Leaf is a member of the orchid family with soft sunrise flowers edged in white. After blooming the flowering stems will slowly drop into the water and begin to form a new plant. Attractive pastel velvety leaves. Introduced by Tricker's before the 1920s and has been a favorite in the decades that followed. A wonderful addition to any water garden!
